Our daily center Lumea Lui Pinocchio has the main mission to support disadvantaged children by offering them a safe space. Every day, the children benefit from non-formal educational activities, help with their homework, as well as a warm lunch and snack. Most of the children come from the Roma community, where families often face high levels of illiteracy and unemployment. This activity encourages children to engage in sports and movement, fostering mental, physical, and emotional development. The program includes indoor and outdoor activities to promote well-being and social skills like teamwork and communication. Tasks: - Organize Sports & Dance Activities - Adapt to Skill Levels - Promote Inclusivity - Monitor Progress - Assist the children with their homework Work alongside staff and other volunteers to foster a supportive, inclusive environment for the children.

A quién buscan
We are searching for young people with a strong interest in ensuring the rights of the most disadvantaged groups and with a big passion for digitalisation and volunteering. Reliability, critical thinking and availability are some of the qualities we are searching for in a participant, along with a willingness to work in a multicultural team and with a desire for self growth and for contributing to other people's growth.

Alojamiento y comidas
The volunteers will be lodged at an apartment specifically dedicated to their hosting. (max. 2 people/ room). The apartment is very close to the Center Pinocchio. Volunteers will be provided with monthly food allowance for their grocery shopping together with a pocket money of 4 Euro for each day of service.
