Daycare center for adults with disabilities
Join us as a volunteer at Tichá's daily care center, supporting adults aged 18 to 45 with mental and combined disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum who need assistance. Our goal is to help clients develop essential daily living skills. Activities Include: • Supervising morning hygiene (washing faces, brushing teeth). • Assisting with mealtimes and encouraging self-care tasks (washing, ironing, cleaning, making beds, mopping, dusting, shopping). • Organizing leisure activities like walking, reading, arts and crafts, board games, theater or cinema visits, gardening, cooking, and baking. • Leading exercise sessions such as chair yoga and stretching. • Participating in music therapy by playing drums. If you’re between 18 and 30, open-hearted, eager to grow your professional skills, and excited to embrace new experiences, this project is made for you! 🌟 Preferred Personal Traits: • Ability to work with individuals with mental disabilities • Advantageous to know how to play a musical instrument • Willingness to communicate and connect with others • Responsibility, creativity, empathy, and proactivity are essential traits It is also important to be proactive and have a desire to learn the Czech language. :)
