Youth and Sports Volunteers in Taekwondo (U-21 Championship)
The volunteering activity will take place in Ankara and Ordu, Türkiye, before and during the U-21 Türkiye Taekwondo Championship, and will last approximately 15 days. Volunteers from different European countries will support the organisation of a major national sports event, with participants coming from many cities across Türkiye. The activity will start in Ankara, where volunteers will support the preparations for the U-21 Türkiye Taekwondo Championship. Volunteers will assist the organising team with the preparation and arrangement of competition areas, equipment, venues and other organisational tasks. Following the completion of the preparations in Ankara, volunteers will travel together from Ankara to Ordu, where the final stage of the U-21 Türkiye Taekwondo Championship will take place. A quién buscan
We are looking for 12 volunteers who: • Are patient and enjoy teamwork. • Are adaptable and able to work flexible hours when required by the event programme. • Have a positive, smiling and sportive personality. • Have an interest in or knowledge and experience of sports activities and youth work. • Are willing to support athletes, coaches, organisers and other participants. • Are comfortable working in an international and multicultural team. • Have no obstacles to travelling between Ankara and Ordu, Türkiye. • Are open-minded and interested in learning, innovation and personal development. • Are motivated to gain practical experience in the organisation of a major sports event. Previous experience in taekwondo or competitive sports is an advantage but not a requirement.

Alojamiento y comidas
Accommodation will be provided in Ankara and Ordu, as close as reasonably possible to the activity and competition venues to reduce daily travel time. Rooms will normally be shared by 2–3 volunteers of the same gender. Volunteers will receive a daily pocket allowance and meals or a food allowance. Project-related transportation, including Ankara–Ordu and Ordu–Ankara transfers, will be organised and covered. Eligible travel costs will be reimbursed according to project rules. After the activity, volunteers will return to Ankara before travelling to their home countries.
